Okumidori (奥緑) means" deep green" or "late green." It is a late maturing cultivar with a vibrant green color and a bright, balanced taste. Perfect for koicha (thick style matcha) or beginner matcha drinkers, it is one of the most prized USDA organic first harvest matchas available.

How to Prepare

Matcha is traditionally enjoyed with only water. Add 1/2 tsp matcha to 1-2oz warm but not boiling water (140-175°F). Whisk for 15-30 seconds in a W (zig-zag) motion. Add another 4-6oz warm water after whisking and enjoy!
