Okumidori First Harvest Matcha (30g)

Okumidori means" deep green" or "late green." It is a late maturing cultivar with a vibrant green color and a bright, balanced taste. Perfect for koicha (thick style matcha) or beginner matcha drinkers, it is one of the most prized USDA organic first harvest matchas available.

Origin: Kagoshima, Japan

Store matcha in a cool, dry place. Keep tin tightly shut and avoid exposing the matcha to sunlight for longevity!

Starter Kit

Here’s how to use your gorgeous kit to make the best matcha possible!

Soak your whisk in warm water for at least 30 seconds. Blooming helps soften the bristles to prevent breakage!
Use the scoop to pick up your matcha + sift it with your sieve to get rid of clumps.
Our recommended ratio: 3g matcha + 40g water.
Whisk in an M or W motion to create a thick foam consistency.
Rinse whisk with water + let dry on whisk holder.
Rinse scoop + sieve with water.
Handwashing your chawan is recommended.
