Okumidori First Harvest Matcha (30g)

Okumidori (奥緑) means" deep green" or "late green." It is a late maturing cultivar with a vibrant green color and a bright, balanced taste. Perfect for koicha (thick style matcha) or beginner matcha drinkers, it is one of the most prized USDA organic first harvest matchas available.

Origin: Kagoshima, Japan

Store matcha in a cool, dry place. Keep tin tightly shut and avoid exposing the matcha to sunlight for longevity!

Starter Kit

Here’s how to use your gorgeous kit to make the best matcha possible!

• Soak your whisk in warm water for at least 30 seconds. Blooming helps soften the bristles to prevent breakage!
• Use the scoop to pick up your matcha + sift it with your sieve to get rid of clumps.
• Our recommended ratio: 3g matcha + 40g water.
• Whisk in an M or W motion to create a thick foam consistency.
• Rinse whisk with water + let dry on whisk holder.
• Rinse scoop + sieve with water.
• Handwashing your chawan is recommended.
