About Nami

Nami comes from the phrase “extra dy(nami)c.” When I started my YouTube channel in 2018, I used “extra dynamic” to describe the energy my siblings brought to my videos. Now, it means much more. It’s the extra spice and sparkle that makes life interesting and fun. Nami is built on the principles of extra dynamic; it’s a matcha meant to brighten your day with a burst of energy, flavor, and color.

Nami's Roots

After testing hundreds of different matchas, taking many trips to Japan, and years of building the brand behind the scenes, Nami now offers an array of first harvest matcha + hojicha products, hand made ceramic kits, + other Nami exclusive accessories.

How we source Nami

Nami sources from several farms across Japan to offer different flavor + product variety. Whether it's the small Yame region of Fukuoka, the large hills of Shizuoka, or warm climate in Kagoshima, each region contributes its own distinctive green tea leaves—offering you a rich variety of tea powders to explore.
