Nami Okumidori First Harvest Matcha

Regular price $34.00 USD

This rare and super high quality Okumidori ceremonial (first harvest) is a single-origin matcha originating from Kagoshima, Japan. Perfect for your daily matcha ritual: incredible vibrant green color with a creamy and aromatic flavor! It is one of the most prized USDA organic first harvest matchas available.

Flavors Notes: The first sip begins with a burst of freshly steamed and buttered greens that soon takes on a vibrant nutty flavor and ends with a floral note. Rather than leaving a bitter taste in the mouth, this matcha fills it with invigorating sweetness.

Made of finely stone-milled green tea leaves, Nami Matcha is packed with antioxidants, chlorophyll, and L-Theanine. The amazing amino acid L-Theanine has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, as well as provide sustained energy without the crash or jitters!

Store matcha in a cool, dry place. Keep tin tightly shut and avoid exposing the matcha to sunlight for longevity!

**Tins have recently been updated to say "Okumidori First Harvest" rather than "Premium Ceremonial Grade." Rest assured they are the same matcha, we just updated the tin to be more descriptive of the match itself! Love, Ashley

More about the Okumidori Cultivar

Our Okumidori matcha is single-origin originating from Kagoshima, Japan. Okumidori (奥緑) means" deep green" or "late green." It is a late maturing cultivar with a vibrant green color and a bright, balanced taste. It is also great for koicha (thick style matcha). Matcha affogato anyone? ;)
