I personally like the yame a lot more than the okumadori and am hoping to try the strawberry.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. She loved the butter yellow vibe. It is a color that is not easy to get sick of, so this kit will last.

She likes all of the tools included except the sieve doesn't sit on the chasen sturdily. She has to hold while sifting, which is fine, but results in slips sometimes.

I would say the actual matcha taste is mellow and on the bitter side. I don't know if there is a lot of depth, but it's a good starter matcha.

Great beginner matcha kit

I am very new to making/tasting matcha. My previous experience was mostly with Starbucks matcha lol. This matcha does have a nice flavor true to its description, and all the items are included that you may need to make your own, other than a kettle and prep instructions. Great product, and would make a great gift for someone new to matcha!

My granddaughter said it just what she wanted.
