Compared to our original (Medium Roast) Hojicha, this Dark Roast option has a deeply toasted flavor and darker brown color. We love both, so give each of them a try and choose your favorite!

Store hojicha in a cool, dry place. Keep tin tightly shut and avoid exposing the hojicha to sunlight for best flavor & longevity!
For a hojicha latte, add 1/2 tsp hojicha to 1-2oz warm but not boiling water (140-175°F). Whisk for 15-30 seconds in a W (zig-zag) motion. Pour over 4-6oz of your choice of milk and enjoy hot or iced!
